I am Sudhir Sharma, Advocate, Founder & President of IAO. I have taken up the responsibility to fight for the honour of all the advocates, their welfare and enforcement of Advocates Protection Act., by the Government of India.

We all know that we are part of judiciary and we as advocates, in addition to being professionals, are also officers of the courts and play a vital role in the administration of justice. Advocates have the dual responsibility of upholding the interests of the client fearlessly while conducting themselves as officers of the court. Accordingly, we are expected to adhere to the highest standards of probity and honour.

Though we have been recognized as officers of the court, still we as advocates do not have and act such as advocates protection act to protect all the advocates across the country. Our own advocates are some time getting humiliated by the police officers when the advocate visit the Police Station for helping their client legally. We collectively need to bring change in the society to recognize us as part of judiciary and get respected all the time and at all the places. We need to create a community where every advocated is protected, honoured for his contribution towards the society.

I humbly invite all the practicing Advocates to join the organization and request to collectively work for the welfare of all the advocates, fight for the honour of the advocates and to work for enforcement of Advocate Protection Act., in favour of Advocates across India.
